Would a normal sized stocking that you hang above the fireplace for Christmas be harmful to a guinea pig? I thought about giving it to my guinea pig, since it's similar to a guinea pig cozie, and no one uses the stocking.
Would it be too warm? Too tight? Would my guinea pig like it?

If it has that long white "fur" on the top, I'd say no. He may try to eat on it since it sticks out like "hay". It may be fun to play in while under observation, but I wouldn't let him have it all the time in case he decides to chew on it. Who knows what sort of dyes and chemicals may have been used on it. What you could do is buy a piece of fleece and sew a similar shape and make a cozy for him yourself.

Usually the guinea pig toys and stuff are not too expensive. I would splurge on one specially made for your pet rather than something that might harm him. If you really want to try the stocking, just put it in his cage and monitor how he does with it.

well most likely not becasue she might not be able to move in it if that's what your saying. she has to still eat drink and play everyday and it won't be much room so don't do it. hope this helps!
