My boyfriend is from Alaska, and he’s traveling home to Alaska this christmas and I wanted to send him with a package of various christmas cookies and treats, what are the best tasting (he like fruity ones, and I’ll add other varieties as well, chocolate, etc.)? How would a yule log do on the trip? Assuming of course he hand carries them and is as careful as he could be.. but still we’ll need some pretty sturdy treats to survive the trip.
What Christmas cookies would survive a trip from New York to Alaska?

"sand tarts" are incredibly delicious and pretty durable if you bake them just past soft.

Do any cookie you like. Some may break, but some will survive and its the thought that counts. My mom sent peanut butter cookies to me all the way in Australia (from DC) one year and they were still good when I got them!
