How does it make you feel? Is this your first year not getting any gifts?
My mom already told me she is not able to give me anything for Christmas. I don’t have a problem with that because she has been giving me stuff all year.
However, I do get a little jealous when spoiled bratty girls at school talk about how they’ve already opened their presents, and they don’t even deserve presents and can’t understand the true meaning of Christmas does not revolve around gifts.

Well i get presents every year but this year is mainly presents for when the baby comes so really im not getting anything my unborn child is but it doesnt matter it helps me and my husband out and presents dont really make me happy the time i get to spend with all of my family is all i need.

Fifth year without presents, tree, or decorations. I was kinda sad at first, but I gradually stopped caring over the years. After all, Christmas isn’t about all of the above, it’s more about time off of work and school and time with your friends and family.

I’m not. I bought myself stuff today. my mom made ME wrap them. and put them under the tree. Ugh. That made me mad.

I’m getting gifts but I know several people who aren’t. I got a laptop last month as an early Christmas gift. Only because my other computer completely stopped turning on altogether and I needed it for school.

I’m getting presents for Christmas,but not nearly as many as last year,and my parents already told me that I won’t be having a big birthday either.I don’t really mind all that much though cause I know they’ve got other,way more important priorities right now and I don’t need a whole lot of stuff anyways.But I do get you on the whole spoiled bratty princess thing-it’s always hard to see those types of girls get everything when they don’t even need/deserve/appriciate it,but it’s how life goes,so I just try to suck it up and get over it and remind myself that the world doesn’t revolve around them.

Yeah Im not getting anything either. My family does not have the money this year for all the gifts && you are right, Christmas isn’t all about the gift. No, this is not my first year not getting any presents, It happened almost two times before this year. I just hate to hear people (who have like a ton of money to actually buy stuff) complain & say "oh man im am going be so mad if my mom don’t get me my new ipod & Xbox for christmas" I be getting mad because I never had a ipod before because we could never afford it & I never had any kind of gaming system either, and I think it’s awfully shallow to complain when there are people out here who cant even eat or who cant get anything at all.

I’ve never gotten presents though, you sorta get used to lying about the fantastic new toys and stuff that you got. And watching your parent wrap up expensive presents for your cousins when you get nothing. *sigh*

awww. i am getting gifts (or maybe just one gift). but i don’t think im getting anything super amaazing. But i did get contacts, a cellphone, lots of new clothes, so i’m not reaally that irritated. well a little but its okaay. but yeaa it is anoying cos i havee some rich spooiled friends, and all they talk about is their new pair of uggs, and their laptop, and their cellphonee, etc. its reaaly annoying i know.
